Just showed the site to a potential user. Notes:
- "Install now" needs to actually install now. Steve: change link to
point at XPI and create .htaccess file on add-art.org with following:
AddType application/x-xpinstall .xpi
- "Contribute" should say "Development", and should be the only link
to dev.eyebeam.org, except possibly the FAQ. It's scary to be
switching sites, the user got confused as hell. Dev site should just
be used for dev
- navigation elements in order of interest to user:
* Install (not "Download")
* About ("Background" and "Authors" could be on the same page)
* FAQ
* Become a Curator
* Development
- put descriptive text above the sweet animated GIF (mad props), user
was like "graphic dominated reading the text and I almost skipped over
it"
Eyebeamers -- I was planning on stopping by tonight per original
dabble post, are you guys around for website tuning/doc cleanup/etc?
