[add-art dev] fyi, add art not working for me

Hm, how does one explain this...
So I reloaded in 0.5.2-Hiroshige and took a screenshot, then loaded
in 0.5.3 and took a screenshot. You can see 'em here:
http://visitsteve.com/foryou/addart/
We're swapping less art with 0.5.3, which makes no sense to me unless
we changed some code without realizing it. Any guesses? Should we
tun a diff on all the files to see if something got f'd up, or is
there some other explanation?
